<p><strong>Purpose:</strong><br>
Denver is looking for a motivated individual who possesses a high degree of energy and commitment to serve as the Webmaster.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br>
- Reports to and serves at the pleasure of the ATM and DATM.<br>
- Maintains an online presence within the facility and on the VATSIM network.<br>
- Manages and oversees the ARTCCs data services including web content and delivery, web services, email systems, data storage systems, etc.<br>
- Must respond quickly to website and data system needs.<br>
- Completes other duties as assigned by DATM.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements:</strong><br>
- Supports the Denver ARTCC’s mission of “Community, integrity, and professionalism” while fostering an open and accepting environment. <br>
- Be a member of ZDV, or willing to transfer upon selection.<br>
- Must be proficient or willing to quickly learn modern web programming practices and techniques and basic server management including Linux, SQLite, Rust, and HTML/JS/CSS.<br>
- Must hold at least an Aerodrome Controller (S2) rating (S3+ rating is preferred).<br>
- Must be an active member of the VATSIM network in good standing.<br>
- Must be able to work in a team environment. <br>
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.</p>
<p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong><br>
- Have previous staff experience in a VATSIM ATC facility or virtual airline.<br>
- Previous VATUSA Webteam/personal web project experience.<br>
- Experience managing a small group of people.<br>
- Experience with Docker, Caddy, systemd.<br>
- Be passionate about solving problems and creating experiences.</p>
