Please join me in congratulating Chris Mauro as the new ATM for the Jacksonville ARTCC! Chris is a familiar face to many around VATUSA, having served as a senior staff member in ZOA, ZTL, ZAU, and most recently, the DATM of ZME! Chris is passionate about leading and supporting the community within ZJX, and is excited to take on this new role. With plans to manage with an open-door approach and increase clear communication inside the facility and with neighbors, I'm confident that Chris will fit in well and be successful as the new man in charge of ZJX! Congratulations Chris!

I'd also like to thank Owen Bliss for the incredible work he did during his time at ZJX. Owen rejoined staff as the ZJX EC and revolutionized the way events were run, including prioritizing a strong social media presence for the ARTCC to increase engagement with the network. Owen realized how important cultivating an active and strong community was, and he has set the ARTCC up for success as he hands the reins over to Chris. Thank you, Owen!
